Congratulations Class of 2023!
Congratulations to the Class of 2023 of the MS in Health Care Transformation program! The investiture ceremony took place Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Students waited excitedly in procession for their investiture to start.
Jandel Allen-Davis, MD, president and CEO of Craig Hospital in Denver, Colorado, a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital that exclusively specializes in the neurorehabilitation and research for patients with spinal cord injury and brain injury, was the guest speaker. Dr. Allen-Davis is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and was in active practice for 25 years. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Allen-Davis completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
The first student speaker was Denise LaRue, administrative director of clinical integration and transformation within Harris Health System’s population health platform in Houston, Texas.
Michael Frumovitz, MD, professor in gynecologic oncology and the chief patient experience officer at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, was the second student speaker.
The day was filled with excitement and big smiles, and the Value Institute for Health and Care staff is incredibly proud of all of the students!
