Transforming Health by Measuring Outcomes

Teisberg speaking to a class

On February 12, health care professionals from across the nation came together at UT Austin to participate in one of our signature executive education programs, Measuring What Matters. Participants were able to hear from Value Institute faculty, as well as, Dr. Carlos Mery, congenital heart surgeon at Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease Program and Kenny Cole, system VP at Clinical Improvement for Ochsner Health System. Participants learned how to drive health transformation through outcome measurement, assess what matters, and understand care paths and costs.
